Airbus

Mozambique mission

After Cyclone Idai caused catastrophic damage in Mozambique, the capabilities and characteristics of the Airbus C295 aircraft were vital in a relief response that included operations to Espungabera, Mozambique. Landing on a short, rugged runway on the side of a mountain, the transport plane was used to bring food and supplies to the city cut off by the natural disaster.
